Diving and where do I start?
I've been looking at dive lately and I really think that would be a great race. I'm 19, and the need for a race. I found some schools that sound spectacular, but I say it must be licensed PADI Rescue. I'm not sure where or how I can get one. I was looking for a loan for the package. PADI Rescue need the license, 60 logged dives, and current CPR and First Aid for credentials. Getting started. I live in Indiana, looking to move to Florida. I would need to take a loan to start only with that? I want to start a career and this sounds incredible!
Well, you are jumping the gun here. What kind of career in diving what you want? Commercial diving is very dangerous, and far from home all the time. If you want be an instructor, you need much more experience and more classes. It is quite competitive to enter. Most diving instructors other jobs too. But as to obtain their certifications, call the local dive shop (or sporting goods stores) and ask about their certification programs. Visit the site PADI website and see a list of certified instructors in your area. Certification will cost only about $ 200, plus the use of equipment or purchase. It is not necessary to remove a loan for it. The rescue license required additional classes that may cost more. But you have to start with your basic certification, and gives you the opportunity to see if you still enjoy it first.
