scuba diving computer watches

I have a fancy clock for Christmas .. its supposed to be a diving watch. Anyway, after browsing the manual says that this is not a Scuba-diving watch. However, you can record the number of dives, the pressure, the upward velocity, and depth. I understand that this is not a dive computer and should not dive without a dive computer using parallel professional. So my question is, can I use this watch while diving, or can be used only for short underwater activities like scuba diving? Thanks!

I think it's mainly for short distances dives, which also depends on the depeths diving, u also have to use the computer also independently
