Looking for Scuba Resort Course Recommendations for Belize, Tulum, Cancun area?

I'm going to Mexico, Guatemala and Belize on vacation and want to include a day of reef diving, I've never scuba dived before and am looking for an option of course of action that will take me some views reef well. I'm leaning toward Belize, but I am finding a tough information gathering time for websites.
